LACOLORS FASHION EXHIBITION
On July 16, 2025, three faculty members from the Fashion Design Department Ms. Payal Jain,
Ms. Bhoomika Bhati, and Mr. Firoz Khan, visited the fashion accessories and designer garments exhibition organized by LACOLORS at Harshvilas Palace in Mandsaur. The exhibition showcased collections from designers across India, offering a diverse range of fashion accessories and designer wear.
Exhibition Highlights and Interactions
The faculty members explored various stores at the exhibition, engaging with numerous designers.
The primary objective of these interactions was to discuss potential opportunities for student internships and job placements. Discussions also revolved around the possibility of organizing workshops for students, providing them with practical exposure and insights into the industry. Many designers expressed interest in collaborating with the department for these initiatives.
A significant interaction took place with a renowned makeup and fashion stylist who works at both national and international levels. This stylist offered valuable insights into the industry and, notably, provided opportunities for our students to assist designers in upcoming fashion shows. This is a remarkable chance for students to gain hands-on experience and build connections within the fashion industry.
