Induction Program
Mandsaur University organized a two-day Induction Program titled “Deeksharambh 2025” on 01 and 02 August 2025 to welcome and orient the first-year students of various disciplines. The primary objective of the induction program was to familiarize students with the university environment, rules and regulations, support systems, and future academic and career opportunities.
The program commenced with the University Introductory Video, offering a glimpse into the university’s journey, achievements, infrastructure, and vision. This was followed by a formal welcome of students and the auspicious lamp lighting ceremony, symbolizing the pursuit of knowledge and enlightenment. The Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. V.S.S. Kumar addressed the gathering with an inspiring speech. He motivated students to maintain focus on their studies and career, emphasized classroom regularity, and encouraged them to respect their peers and faculty members. He further urged students to uphold ethical values and strive to become responsible and compassionate human beings. Dr. Arunava Das, Dean of Academic Affairs, elaborated on the academic rules and policies of the university, including minimum attendance requirements, discipline, and the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) system. He also provided insight into the New Education Policy (NEP) and how it is being effectively implemented at Mandsaur University. Mr. Manish Verma, Controller of Examination, discussed in detail the examination rules, grading system, minimum passing criteria, and the promotion policies under NEP-based curriculum. His session clarified the academic progression system for new students.
