Expert Talk on “Management Fundas
The Department of Business Administration and Commerce at Mandsaur University organized an Expert Talk titled “Management Fundas” on 05 August 2025. The session was conducted by Mr. Sunil Panjwani, CEO of Smriti Bank.
Mr. Panjwani engaged students in an interactive management game where they were divided into eight groups, each led by a designated group leader. This exercise aimed to simulate real-world organizational dynamics and foster leadership, teamwork, and strategic decision-making skills.
Following the activity, Mr. Panjwani delivered an insightful talk on the functioning of the banking sector and elaborated on the five core functions of management: Planning, Organizing, Staffing, Directing, and Controlling. He also discussed strategies for coping with roles and responsibilities in any professional setting, emphasizing adaptability, accountability, and proactive learning.
At the conclusion of the session, Dr. Pallavi Mane, Head of the Department, expressed heartfelt appreciation to Mr. Panjwani for sharing his knowledge and experiences with the students. In her Vote of Thanks, she acknowledged the valuable insights provided during the talk and the engaging learning experience facilitated through the management game. She also thanked all the faculty members and students for their enthusiastic participation and support in making the event a success.
