Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and Responsible Use of AI
The Faculty of Business Administration and Commerce (FBAC), Mandsaur University, organized an
informative and interactive session on Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and Responsible
Use of AI on 11th April 2026. The session was conducted for students of II, IV and VI semesters with
the objective of creating awareness about data privacy laws and ethical use of Artificial Intelligence in
the digital era.
The program began at 09:30 AM with a warm welcome of the Resource Person, CA Siddharth
Agrawal. During the session, he elaborated on the key provisions of the Digital Personal Data
Protection Act, 2023, including data collection, consent management, responsibilities of data
fiduciaries, rights of data principals, penalties for non-compliance, and the significance of safeguarding
personal data in organizations.
The session focused on the Responsible Use of Artificial Intelligence. The speaker highlighted ethical
AI practices, data security concerns, algorithmic bias, transparency, accountability, and the role of
future managers in ensuring responsible and lawful implementation of AI technologies in business
operations. Practical examples and case discussions were shared to enhance students’ understanding of
real-world applications.
The session was highly interactive, with students actively participating through questions and
discussions. Total 41 students attended the session and benefited from the expert insights shared by the
Resource Person.
The program concluded at 1:30 PM with a vote of thanks expressing gratitude to the Resource Person
and participants for making the session successful.
