One Day Workshop on Professional Identity & Personal Branding
The Faculty of Business Administration and Commerce (FBAC), Mandsaur University, organized a
One Day Workshop on “Professional Identity & Personal Branding” on 10th April 2026 for BBA,
B.Com and MBA students. The objective of the workshop was to equip students with essential skills
required to build a strong professional identity and create an impactful personal brand in today’s
competitive corporate environment.
The workshop was conducted in two sessions.
Session I (09:30 AM to 1:30 PM):
The program commenced with a formal welcome of the Resource Person, Mrs. Tanuja Sharma. In the
first session, the speaker explained the concept of professional identity, highlighting the importance of
self-awareness, strengths, and goal setting. Students were guided on how to align their personality traits,
competencies, and career aspirations to develop a consistent and authentic professional image.
Mrs. Sharma also discussed the fundamentals of personal branding, including building a strong resume,
developing communication skills, use of social media, maintaining professional etiquette, and
leveraging digital platforms such as LinkedIn for career growth. Practical examples and real-life case
studies were shared to provide better clarity and application-based learning. (attended 94 students)
Session II (2:30 PM to 4:00 PM):
The second session focused on practical exercises and interactive activities. Students participated in
self-assessment exercises, elevator pitch preparation, and mock professional introductions. The
Resource Person provided constructive feedback to help students refine their presentation skills and
professional communication. (attended 16 students)
The workshop was highly engaging and interactive, with active participation from students throughout
both sessions. The program concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the Resource
Person for sharing valuable knowledge and practical guidance.
