Health Check-up Camp
On the occasion of World Health Day, 7th April 2026, a Free Medical Check-up Camp was successfully organized at Mandsaur University Campus I. This event was conducted by the Department of Education in collaboration with the CSR Club of the university with the objective of promoting health awareness and ensuring the well-being of students and faculty members.
The program was inaugurated by Dean Research, Dr. Arunava Das, who formally commenced the program by cutting the ribbon. In his address, he emphasized the importance of maintaining good health and encouraged everyone to take regular health check-ups seriously. Dr. Shyamsundar Sharma,( Dean Agriculture) , Dr. R.P. Pandey (HOD- Education), and Dr. D.B. Tyagi (HOD Agriculture) also graced the occasion along with the General Manager and HR of Mandsaur University, Assistant Dean Research Dr. Najmuddin Khan, Chairperson of the CSR Club, and faculty members from the Department of Education.
A team of experienced doctors conducted the medical examinations: Dr. Ghanshyam Patidar (Physician), Dr. Nihar Mehra (Dentist), and Dr. Juli Kotwani (BAMS), supported by their staff.. They provided valuable health consultations and basic medical services to all participants. During the interactive session, the doctors also delivered brief health awareness talks focusing on preventive healthcare, dental hygiene, and the benefits of Ayurvedic medicine in everyday wellness. Participants were encouraged to adopt healthy habits and undergo regular medical screenings.
The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation, with approximately 217 students and faculty members benefiting from the free health check-up services. The entire program was efficiently coordinated by Dr. Bharat Upadhyay, whose efforts ensured the smooth execution of the event. The initiative was highly appreciated by all attendees as it helped spread awareness about preventive healthcare and early diagnosis. The program concluded with a vote of thanks extended by the Department of Education.
