Alumni Interaction

The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering in association with IIC & IQAC CELL organized an interactive session with Ms. Nancy Brijwani, a distinguished alumna and Senior Software Developer at Impetus, Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. The session aimed to provide students with insights into industry trends, career growth, and essential skills required in the software development domain.

She shared her journey from an engineering graduate to a successful software developer, the challenges she faced and the strategies she adopted to excel in the IT industry:

  • Transition from Core Engineering to Software Development- She explained how knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, and SQL helped her transition from Electrical and Electronics Engineering to the software domain.
  • Industry Trends and Opportunities- She discussed emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, and Big Data Analytics, which are reshaping the IT industry. 
  • Skills – She highlighted key technical and soft skills required to for the software industry, including:
  1. Strong programming and problem-solving abilities
  2. Knowledge of data structures and algorithms
  3. Effective communication and teamwork

She answered all the questions patiently and provided valuable insights about software developer field. 

In the end of the session Mr. Virendra Singh Solanki, (AP, EEE), gave a vote of thanks to Ms. Nancy Brijwani for sharing her knowledge and experience with the students.
