About Library & Information Sciences
Mandsaur University has been offering BLISc, MLISc & Ph.D Programmes on regular mode since 2016. BLISc & MLISc courses are one year progrmmes each course consist of two semester. The Intake of BLISC Course is 30 Students & The MLISc Course is 30 Students. The BLISc & MLISc students are evaluated by Grading Point System. The Students who have B.A. Bcom & B.Sc or any degree with 50% Marks are eligible for admission into BLISc Course. & The Students who have BLISc Degree 50% Marks are eligible for admission into MLISc Course. The Total Fee for BLISC Course is Rs 24,000 & MLISc Course is Rs 28,000/- excluding Examination Fee. Govt. of Madhya Pradesh is providing Scholarships to SC (12,000) , ST (12000) & OBC (6000) . Our faculty members are highly qualified. The BLISc course consist of 10 papers & MLISc course Consist of 10 papers. BLISc Course consist of 40 credits & MLISc Course consist of 40 credits. 142 Students obtained BLISc Degrees, 102 Students obtained MLISc Degrees & 14 scholars obtained Ph.D degrees from University. The students from various states of India namely Sikkim, Maharastra, Delhi, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu & Andhra Pradesh, etc were admitted into BLISc & MLISc Course .
