About BRNCOP
B. R. Nahata Collage of Pharmacy (BRNCOP) is nurtured by B. R. Nahata Smriti Sansthan (BRNSS), a philanthropic organization committed to the service of humanity through technological advancement. The institute carries all the necessary approvals of Pharmacy council of India, New Delhi and is affiliated to Mandsaur University from year 2016, before it was affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi Technical University (RGPV), Bhopal.
Faculty of Pharmacy has an aim to provide excellent facilities for education and research. The objective of the institute is to provide solid scientific and technical knowledge required to prepare professionals capable of undertaking with responsibility and professional qualification.
When it comes to research we have been at the forefront ever since we launched the first private player run post graduate program in pharmaceutical sciences in the state with phenomenal outcome in publication, presentations and research projects from budding pharmacists and research scholars. We advocate the skill – based education rather than rote learning or syllabus driven or exam oriented approach. The academic programs have been bench-marked against the best prevailing standards with regular up-gradation. It is our belief that value-based learning leading to total development of personality and expertise of the students and the faculty will be our long lasting contribution to the overall growth of our nation and society.
The Faculty has an advanced infrastructural facility like sophisticated instrumentation lab, Biotechnology and microbiology labs, advanced chemistry facilities lab and other state of art research laboratories.
Pharmacy is a fast growing sector worldwide. Advances in medical and pharmaceutical sciences can be felt in day to day life. Thus there has been a tremendous increase in the job opportunities of pharmacy graduates, post graduates and researchers.

Laboratories
Pharmaceutics Lab
All the laboratories having good ventilation and lighting facilities along with continuous water supply. The laboratories are designed efficiently for proper storage of chemicals and glassware. These laboratories are well equipped with the latest instruments, and appliances.
Pharmaceutical Chemistry Lab
The Pharmaceutical chemistry department is committed to excellence in Pharmaceutical Chemistry through providing a nurturing and conducive environment for teaching and learning in basic and medicinal chemistry.
Pharmaceutical Analysis Lab
Pharmaceutical Analysis department of the institute will ensure an environment for teamwork and successful organizational practices. The Department is well equipped with modern analytic facilities like U.V, HPTLC, HPLC, FT-IR etc.
Pharmacology Lab
For the approval of various research projects on experimental animals the department has centralized animal house approved by CPCSEA, New Delhi for conducting experiments on Mice, Rats, Guinea Pigs, and Rabbits. Animal house is maintained with proper housing condition for experimentation.
Pharmacognosy Lab
The subject is mainly concerned with the study of drugs obtained from the natural source, provides information about the principles and procedures used in the identification, authentication, extraction, isolation of active constituents by chromatography techniques, purification and development of herbal formulations and assay methods for the isolated constituents.
Biotechnology and Microbiology Lab
The Biotechnology and Microbiology Laboratory offers state-of-the-art facilities and hands-on activities to help students better understand the promising approach of biotechnology and microbiology and learn its tools and techniques.

Professor & Head, Department of PharmacognosyDr. L. N. Patidar is a distinguished academician with over 19 years of rich experience in various domains of pharmaceutical sciences. Dr. Patidar completed his B. Pharm (2003), M. Pharm (2009) and Ph.D. (2019) in the field of Pharmacy and has since dedicated himself to academic excellence and research innovation. He has made significant contributions to the field of Pharmacognosy, Pharmaceutics, and Quality Assurance, with several research papers published in reputed national and international journals. Dr. Patidar holds an Indian patent and a UK design patent, reflecting his innovative contributions to pharmaceutical research. Additionally, he has authored multiple books and book chapters with renowned publishers, serving as valuable resources for students and researchers alike. His key research areas include: Study of medicinal plants and natural products with their Formulation development and optimization Dr. Patidar has actively participated in numerous national and international seminars, sharing his expertise and contributing to the advancement of pharmaceutical sciences. He has also played a pivotal role in research supervision, guiding PhD, postgraduate, and undergraduate students, thereby shaping the next generation of pharmaceutical professionals. Professor, Faculty of Pharmacy, Mandsaur University, MandsaurDr. Priyanka Soni presently working as Professor in Faculty of Pharmacy, Mandsaur University, Mandsaur. PhD awarded Pharmacognosy from Banasthali University, Rajasthan India and M. Pharm from B. R. Nahata College of Pharmacy, Mandsaur, Madhya Pradesh. She is an editor and associate editor of numerous books. She wrote numerous chapters in edited books and filed 3 patents. She contributed to more than 60 review and research papers. She served as board member, reviewer of research journals and books. Her area of interest is isolation and characterization of lead molecules, screening and evaluation of various pharmacological activities of samples. She received the various awards SRIJAN-2015, Best Oral Presentation, Women Scientist awards in national and international conferences.

Assistant Professor, Department of Pharmaceutics, B. R. Nahata College of Pharmacy, Mandsaur (M.P.)Mrs. Purnima Agrawal is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutics at B. R. Nahata College of Pharmacy, Mandsaur (M.P.). She holds a B.Pharm from B. R. Nahata College of Pharmacy, Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV), Bhopal, and an M.Pharm (Pharmaceutics) from A.P.J. Abdul Kalam University, Indore. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in the field of Pharmaceutics. Her research interests focus on the formulation and evaluation of sustained-release drug delivery systems, with particular emphasis on the development of sustained-release formulations of Sitagliptin to improve therapeutic efficacy and patient compliance. Since joining B. R. Nahata College of Pharmacy as an Assistant Professor in June 2025, she has been actively engaged in teaching Pharmaceutics courses while promoting research-oriented learning and the application of modern pharmaceutical formulation techniques among undergraduate pharmacy students.

Assistant ProfessorDr. Deepak Kumar is an Assistant Professor with qualifications in B.Pharm and Pharm.D (Post Baccalaureate). His academic and professional expertise lies in Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacotherapeutics, with a strong focus on optimizing medication therapy and promoting patient safety through evidence-based clinical pharmacy practices. Dr. Deepak Kumar is ICH-GCP and NIDA CTN certified and has successfully completed two online Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs). Prior to his current role, he served as a faculty member at CLG Pharmacy College, Sumerpur, Rajasthan, affiliated with Rajasthan University of Health Sciences (RUHS). He has teaching experience in Pharmaceutical Organic Chemistry-III, Pharmaceutical Inorganic Chemistry, and Human Anatomy and Physiology for B.Pharm and Pharm.D programmes. He is committed to integrating clinical expertise with innovative teaching practices to prepare pharmacy students for patient- centered healthcare and evidence-based pharmaceutical practice. Project Work: A Study of Neonatal Hyperbilirubinemia in a Tertiary Care Hospital in Southern Rajasthan: A Retrospective Analysis. Worked on a retrospective analysis of neonatal hyperbilirubinemia by reviewing hospital records to study its risk factors, treatment, and clinical outcomes, with the aim of improving early diagnosis and patient management.

Associate ProfessorDr. Lokenedra singh chundawat is an experienced faculty member with 11 years of teaching experience in pharmaceutical education. He/She holds B.Pharm, M.Pharm (Industrial Pharmacy), and a Doctoral (Ph.D.) degree, with research focused on solubility enhancement of pharmaceutical compounds. His academic interests include pharmaceutical formulation and development, drug delivery systems, and pharmaceutical research. He is committed to delivering quality education, promoting research, and mentoring students to develop strong academic and professional competencies in the field of pharmacy.

He has nearly 1 year of academic experience and 1.5 of extensive clinical training experience in tertiary care hospitals. His areas of expertise include Clinical Pharmacology, Pharmacotherapeutics, Pharmacovigilance, and Medication Therapy Management. Dr. Sompura has hands-on experience in adverse drug reaction (ADR) reporting, prescription auditing, antimicrobial stewardship, medication error detection, narcotic audits, and patient counselling. He is actively involved in teaching, clinical training, and research, with a focus on evidence-based pharmacy practice and patient safety. He is committed to mentoring students, promoting professional development, and fostering research-oriented learning to prepare competent healthcare professionals.
