AI & Industry 5.0 Tools for Innovators & Entrepreneurs

The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mandsaur University, Mandsaur, organized a three-day workshop on “AI & Industry 5.0 Tools for Innovators & Entrepreneurs” from 20 to 22 August 2026 for B.Tech and Diploma students (EEE and MECH)

Day 1 – 20 August 2026

The first day of the workshop focused on introducing students to Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the concept of Industry 5.0. The session was conducted by Mr. Bhupendra Singh Thakur, CEO, Robotronix Engineering Tech Pvt. Ltd., Indore.

Mr. Bhupendra Singh explained the evolution of industrial technologies from Industry 1.0 to Industry 5.0 and highlighted the importance of human-centric, intelligent, collaborative, and sustainable technologies in modern industries.

Students were introduced to various AI tools and their applications in engineering and real-world problem-solving. The session included interactive discussions, practical demonstrations, and examples of emerging AI technologies. The demonstrations helped students understand how AI can be effectively utilized for innovation, automation, decision-making, and solving engineering problems.

The session provided students with a basic understanding of AI and Industry 5.0 and motivated them to explore AI-based technologies for developing innovative and human-centric engineering solutions.

 Day 2 – 21 August 2026

The second day focused on the practical applications of AI and Industry 5.0 tools. The trainers from Robotronix Engineering Tech Pvt. Ltd. conducted hands-on sessions and live demonstrations, explaining how AI can be integrated into real-world applications.

As part of the practical demonstration, the trainers demonstrated the following two AI-based project: AI-Powered Machine Monitoring with Humans in Control
The trainer demonstrated an AI-based machine monitoring system in which AI assists in monitoring machine operations, identifying conditions, and providing useful insights while human operators remain in control of decision-making. The demonstration helped students understand the concept of human-centric AI and Industry 5.0, where technology supports rather than replaces human involvement. 

The demonstrations provided students with practical exposure to how AI concepts can be transformed into real-world, industry-oriented applications. Students also discussed possible project ideas and applications of similar technologies.

Day 3 – 22 August 2026

The third day emphasized innovation, entrepreneurship, project development, and industrial applications of AI and Industry 5.0. Students discussed innovative ideas and explored how AI-based technologies could be applied to solve real-world engineering and societal problems.

As part of the practical demonstration, the trainers demonstrated the following two AI-based project: Mandsaur University Admission AI Voice Agent
The trainer also demonstrated an AI Voice Agent developed for Mandsaur University Admission. The project showcased how an AI-powered voice-based system can interact with prospective students, provide information related to admissions, and assist in handling routine admission-related queries. The demonstration helped students understand the practical use of AI and voice technology in industry institutions.
