Best out of Waste

The Department of Education has organized an activity on Best out of waste

competition for B.Ed. students on Saturday 14 March 2026. The students of

B.Ed. second and fourth semester took part in the competition. The objective of

the “Best Out of Waste” activity was to encourage students to make creative and

useful items using waste materials. It aimed to develop creativity, innovation, and

practical skills among students while teaching them the importance of recycling

and reusing discarded items. The activity also helped create awareness about

environmental protection and waste management, motivating students to reduce

waste and use resources responsibly. This program was started with welcoming

of judges by Dr. R.P. Pandey, Professor & Head of the Department of Education.

Mrs. Khushnuma Mansuri (Asst. Professor) of Education Department conducted

the event. In this program, the judges were Dr. Ravshish Kaur Kohli Head of

Forensic Science Department and Dr. Sushmita Mandal of Life Science

Department. After a warm welcome of judges B.Ed. students presented their

articlse to the judges to judge. In this activity, Lad Kunwar secured 1st position

and Balkrishan secured 2nd position. In this activity whole staff of the

Department of Education and the students of B.Ed. second and fourth semester

were present.
