Industry Visit

The Faculty of Business Administration and Commerce (FBAC), Mandsaur University, organized an
Industrial Visit to Dabur India Limited, Pithampur, Indore for MBA students under the coordination
of Dr. Ruben Shah and Ms. Alveera Shah accompanied as the female faculty. The visit was conducted
with the objective of providing students practical exposure to industrial operations, manufacturing
systems, supply chain management, quality control procedures, and organizational functioning in a
leading FMCG company.
During the visit, students were provided with comprehensive exposure to two major manufacturing units
of Dabur:
 Dabur Real Juice Manufacturing Plant
 Dabur Hajmola Manufacturing Plant
Students observed the complete manufacturing processes of both product categories and gained practical
understanding of how large-scale FMCG production systems operate. The company officials explained
each stage of production, beginning from raw material procurement, processing, formulation, quality
testing, packaging, labeling, warehousing, and final dispatch.
 At the Real Juice Manufacturing Plant, students learned about beverage production processes,
ingredient handling, automated filling systems, packaging technologies, storage procedures, hygiene
standards, and supply chain coordination. The importance of maintaining food safety standards and
consistency in beverage manufacturing was explained in detail.
 At the Hajmola Manufacturing Plant, students observed tablet manufacturing operations, formulation
processes, blending systems, quality inspection methods, packaging operations, and production
monitoring systems. Students also gained insights into pharmaceutical-grade hygiene practices and
quality assurance mechanisms followed during manufacturing.
