Brief description/ Remarks:
The two-days machine embroidery workshop, organized by the Fashion Design Department at LT-1 in collaboration with Usha Internatinal Ltd., was a comprehensive learning experience. Held on November 7th and 8th, 2024, the workshop covered a wide range of topics, from basic machine operation to advanced design techniques. Participants had the unique opportunity to work with Usha’s computerized embroidery machines, which required minimal manual intervention. Expert trainers from Usha International Ltd provided hands-on training, guiding participants through the process of creating intricate embroidery designs. Beyond embroidery, the workshop also explored other applications of Usha machines, such as quilting, appliqué, and free-motion stitching. Each participant had the opportunity to independently operate the machine and develop unique designs. The workshop not only enhanced technical skills but also inspired creativity and innovation. Participants were exposed to the latest industry trends and explored potential business opportunities in the field of machine embroidery.
