Industrial Visit

An Industrial visit to KRISHNAKESHAV FOODS PVT LTD, Village-Thadod, Dist.- Mandsaur (M.P.) was organized by the EEE department on 12/04/2025.

The primary objectives of this visit were:

  1. To explore the role of automation and electrical systems in food manufacturing.
  2. To understand the use of sensors and relays in maintaining process efficiency and safety.
  3. To understand the manufacturing process of cold-pressed edible oils.
  4. To study the processing and packaging of dairy-based products.
  5. To understand the supply chain and storage system of edible products.

Krishna Keshav Foods Pvt. Ltd. is a well-established food processing company known for its brand Satvik Fresh. The company produces high-quality cold-pressed (Kacchi Ghani) oils and a variety of dairy products like ghee, curd, and buttermilk. Under the Satvik Fresh label, the focus is on delivering natural, chemical-free, and traditionally processed food items that promote health and wellness.

Following are the key highlights of the visit

  1. Students studied the role of PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) in process control.
  2. Learned about motor control systems, including VFDs and soft starters.
  3. Students learned how raw food products are transformed, branded, and marketed to consumers under the Satvik Fresh label.
  4. Industry professionals shared valuable insights about food safety, shelf-life, and business operations.
  5. Students learned about the importance of food safety standards like FSSAI, hygiene protocols, and how the company maintains certifications to ensure product quality and consumer trust.
