and healthy lifestyle among the students and faculty members. This club activity will help students
to bring them together with a passion for nutrition and public health.
The program commenced with a warm welcome of the Vice-Chancellor Dr. V.S.S. Kumar by Mr.

during which he highlighted the objectives of the event. He emphasized that the activity was
designed to promote essential life skills related to healthy living, which would not only enhance
health and educational outcomes but also contribute to improved academic performance and a
healthier university environment.
Mr. Abhishek Singh Rajawat Assistant Professor, Faculty of Life Sciences and Coordinator of
Health & Nutrition club then acknowledged the invaluable support provided by Dr. Deepak Yadav
Principal of Ayurveda, whose involvement was crucial to the success of the event. We also
expressed gratitude towards the final-year BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) students and faculties who played a significant role in encouraging participation and ensuring the
event’s success.
The BAMS faculty and students Dr. Hardika, Dr. Prabin, Dr. Ghanshyam, Dr. Akhilesh, conducted
various health assessments during the event. They educated participants on the importance of
healthy food, essential nutrients, and balanced daily diets. The team also provided counseling and

for each participant.
A total of 119 students and faculty members participated in the event, benefiting from the health
assessments and guidance provided. The entire program was effectively coordinated by Mr.

success of the event.
Outcome:
The Health and Nutrition Club’s activity provided an invaluable platform for socializing and
sharing knowledge about well-being. Resource persons, including faculty and final-year BAMS
students, shared their experiences and expertise on achieving a healthy lifestyle. This interaction
not only offered students insights into maintaining good health but also provided them with
practical tools and tips to implement in their daily lives.
Students eagerly participated in the basic health check-up, demonstrating a strong interest in their
well-being. The examinations and personalized health reports generated during the event helped
them understand their current health status, encouraging them to adopt healthier habits.
Furthermore, the event offered an opportunity for students who were experiencing stress or
depression to receive counselling from the attending doctors. This counselling proved to be a
crucial support system for these students, guiding them toward better mental health and stress
management strategies.
Overall, the activity was a resounding success, fostering a sense of community, enhancing student
well-being, and promoting a culture of health awareness within the university.
