Department of Journalism and Mass Communication
The Department of Journalism and Mass Communication offers programs designed to equip students with theoretical knowledge and practical skills in media fields such as print and broadcast journalism, digital media, advertising, public relations, and media research.
Undergraduate Program (B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication)
- Duration: 3-4 years
- Overview: Covers journalism fundamentals, media ethics, multimedia storytelling, and media laws.
- Key Courses: Journalism, Content Writing, Script Writing, Film Making, News Writing, Digital Media Production, PR & Advertising, and Television Production.
Postgraduate Program (M.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication)
- Duration: 2 years
- Overview: Advanced studies in media, research, and strategic communication. Students develop portfolios, short films, and research projects through classroom and outdoor activities.

Dr. Ram Sunder Kumar
I am working as Head & Assistant Professor in the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, Mandsaur University, Madhya Pradesh. Before this, I have worked as Assistant Professor in the Department of mass communication of Vivekananda Global University (NAAC A+) for 13 Months. My work focuses on International Relations, Global Media, PR & Corporate Communication, History of Journalism, Indian Political System & Media Laws & Ethics. My 10- 12 research contributions have been published in National, International, UGC listed referred journals and Peer- Reviewed Journals. I am also working as the director of IKS center in Mandsaur university. I have also written a book on the journalism of Prof. Baldev bhai sharma

Mr. Ingerloskaram
Mr.Ingerloskaram is a Professor of Journalism and Mass Communication at Mandsaur University. He has 7 years of professional experience of journalist at ANI (Asian News International) under his belt. He has vast experience of conducting interviews with VVIPs like Central ministers, Members of the Parliaments, Chief Ministers, Members of the legislative Assembly, IAS, IPS and celebrities etc... He has done his bachelor degree in philosophy and Psychology and Post graduated in Journalism and Mass Communication. He has written several research papers and articles for news magazines. With a core expertise and avid interest in the domain of Media and Public Relations, Mr. Karam is currently enrolled for his doctorate degree at Mandsaur University.
